BEHIND THE BRAND

Maryam Al Darwish graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University Qatar in May 2015. Her senior collection entitled The Details got nominated for the “Salam” and “W” Awards. She won the “W” award which gave her the boost to establish her own brand which made its debut at the “W” hotel in Doha. Under her brand, she has successfully released several Ramadan outfit collections and started her Abaya collection in fall 2018. Due to the rapidly growing success of her label, she won the “Emerging Talent Award” from Grazia Magazine in 2018 which pushed her to further invest in her brand and release seasonal collections. 

The brand is known for its modern yet modest aesthetic. Her taste in chic, asymmetrical, bohemian embroidered style has given her a unique fingerprint amongst Qatari designers.
